Older Adult Peer Funded Programs: Driving Innovations in Workforce solutions and access to care

Description: On this panel, Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialists will share the lessons learned from Multnomah County’s Older Adult Peer Program, in particular the differences in length and style of engagement needed, to provide a successful goal-directed peer experience for community members.
Participants will be able to explain the usefulness of screening tools such as the SBIRT, and UCLA Loneliness Scale in identifying areas of risk as well as providing an opportunity for health education and problem solving.
